MM News

Mythbusters! Watch the July 31 episode for Mustang mayhem. We're big fans of the show, so we were happy to oblige when the producers asked us for an MM part to help Adam and Jamie attempt to bust a myth. See if you can spot the MM part in the new Summer Season Sneak Preview and the Winter Season Sneak Preview. More Mythbusters is on the MM Facebook page.

MM on TV is now on the web! Watch Engine Power on the web to see the installation of a Maximum Motorsports suspension package on Engine Power's "Barely Legal Mustang" project car. This Fox Mustang also gets a Coyote engine swap! Engine Power is one of the Power Nation TV shows airing on Spike, CBS Sports Network, and NBC Sports Network.

Vortech's 2014 Mustang SEMA show car, with its MM suspension, is on the road, traveling from show to show. It will be on display at the Fresh Meet Summer Bash at Kean University in Union, NJ, July 13. The next event will be Mustang Week, at the Myrtle Beach Mall in Myrtle Beach, SC, July 18-19.

MM's Road & Track Box for 2005-2014 Mustangs is now available. StangTV has an installation article, and a press release. Read more about MM's latest Grip Box on the MM website.

Tech Info
Notes
  • Any model roll bar that does not include high-mounted door bars and have a welded-in harness mount brace does not meet the NHRA or NMRA rules.
  • Roll bars should have padding wherever any part of an occupant's body may come into contact with the steel tubing. This includes hands, feet, arms, and legs, not just the occupants' heads. Click here for roll bar padding.
Special-Order Option
  • Diagonal Brace: Located in the plane of the main hoop, the welded-on diagonal brace greatly improves rollover protection and increases chassis rigidity. Made from 1-3/4" diameter by 0.134" wall DOM tube.
  • To order a Diagonal Brace, after adding your roll bar choice to the shopping cart, add the "Diagonal Brace Option", part # MMRBO-1, to your shopping cart: Click here to read about the diagonal brace.
  • Low-slung Door Bars: Designed to stiffen the chassis while also allowing easy access into your Mustang, the low door bars increase chassis rigidity without the intrusiveness of the traditional 6-point roll bar's high door bars. Features easy initial installation (no welding), but not intended to be removed. Does not meet NHRA or NMRA rules. Made from 1-1/2" diameter by 0.134" wall DOM tube. May interfere with some aftermarket seats.
  • To order Low-slung Door Bars, after adding this roll bar to the shopping cart, add the "Low-Slung Door Bar Option for SN95 Convertible Mustang", part # MMRBO-LB2, to your shopping cart. Click here to read about the low-slung door bars.
  • We do not stock roll bars with the special-order options. Allow 2-4 weeks for manufacturing.
