Manual steering rack for 1994-04 Mustang, 15:1 quick ratio

    • Lose weight by swapping from power to manual steering.
    • 15:1 ratio is the quickest ratio of all manual racks.
    • Least number of turns, lock to lock.
    • The steering racks we currently have in stock are fitted with tie-rods having the same 9/16"-18 SAE threads at the outer end as Fox Mustang tie-rods. This requires using a 1979-93 Mustang outer tie-rod end or bumpsteer kit.
    • NOTE: Flaming River has manufactured the FR1508Q part number with two different tie-rods. One version had the OEM metric threads at the outer end, and the other version had the same 9/16"-18 SAE threads at the outer end as Fox Mustang tie-rods.
    • Outer tie-rod ends not included.
    • Rack input requires steering shaft for manual racks. Steering shaft for power rack will not fit.
    • Installation kits with high performance versions of the parts needed for installation of a manual steering rack are available.
