- This kit can be used on earlier Mustangs if you have updated to SN95 spindles, but also requires a hose fitting adaptor. Order one MMBAK-4 adapter. Please note in the special instructions field if you have a 1993 or earlier car.
- Road race kit with high temperature race pads. Extended low temperature (street) use will cause premature rotor and pad wear
- Minimum wheel size: 18" - check the wheel clearance drawing in the Wilwood instructions before ordering
Mixing Fox and SN95 brake kits? Call us first.
If you are combining an SN95 (1994-2004) kit with a Fox (1979-1993) kit, or a Fox kit with an SN95 kit, please call us at (888) 378-8830 before ordering so we can run the calculations to make sure the kits will work together. If needed, we can ask Wilwood to do a no-cost caliper substitution to get the brake bias correct.
This kit, 140-16859 is configured for dedicated road racing on all 1994-2004 model Mustangs. The AERO6R/ST six piston calipers used in this kit feature a forged aluminum body with a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray color hard anodized finish and 20mm thick pads.
