Maximum Motorsports Dealer Requirements

Thank you for your interest in applying to become a dealer of Maximum Motorsports products.

To begin the application process:

1. Provide us with a copy of your business license. Your current address and business name must be clearly shown on it. This must be a commercial location, not a residence.
2. Provide us with a copy of your business advertisement (yellow page ad or an ad in a national magazine), or photos of your business storefront. Photos must show clearly visible signage, as well as the interior public area. If you do not have a physical shop, send us your website address.
3. Provide us with your contact information: Mailing address, phone number, and email address.
4. Acknowledge the California Proposition 65 requirements by reading, signing, and emailing this document to us. For more information about Prop 65 visit the official website.
5. If you are located in California, provide us with a signed sellers permit card. We will provide a card upon request. Without a signed card we must apply CA sales tax.

Maximum Motorsports will review your application. We may contact you for more information. Among the factors we consider:

• Storefront or shop for walk-in customers
• Internet-only businesses (case-by-case basis)
• Proximity to existing MM dealers

Attaining MM dealership status is not automatic. The review and approval process may take several days, as all applications are reviewed for suitability, and approved solely at the discretion of Maximum Motorsports.

General Dealership Information

Two price levels are offered to MM dealers: Jobber and Wholesale (WD).

Once your dealer application is approved, to qualify for Wholesale pricing you must make an initial purchase of at least $3,500 of MM products (at the WD price). MM products are parts we manufacture or are made to our specifications. Most have a part number beginning with "MM," as in "MMKM-1." To remain qualified for WD pricing you must purchase at least $3,500 of MM product per calendar year.

Your dealer pricing will change from WD to the Jobber level if this yearly minimum purchase level is not met. If you do not order anything within 2 years, your dealer account will be deleted.

If your dealer application is approved, but you do not wish to make the initial buy-in for WD status, you may purchase at the Jobber price level. This level has a lesser discount, and not all items are available at a Jobber discount.

IMPORTANT: Dealers are responsible for updating MM prices in their systems. Your business email will be added to our dealer newsletter list because that's how we send out price changes. These occur infrequently, but must be implemented within a week to avoid breaking our MAP policy.

Minimum Advertised Price Policy

All Maximum Motorsports dealers must strictly follow our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy. Our MAP is the same as retail prices on our website. Any company not following this policy will be discontinued as a Maximum Motorsports dealer. While we realize that pricing is a factor in some customers' decision-making process, Maximum Motorsports products are the finest aftermarket products available. Details of the MAP policy are included in our dealer intro packet.

Shipping

Dealers do not receive free shipping. Each order is assessed its own shipping charge. Drop-ship orders (i.e., orders going out to your customer vs. to your shop) cost an additional $6.

California Sales Tax

Maximum Motorsports is required by state law to collect sales tax on any order drop shipped within California by a dealer not holding a California seller's permit or a Certificate of Registration-Use Tax (California State Regulation 1706). You will be assessed the prevailing tax rate at the time of ordering unless we have on file a signed sellers permit card or a Certificate of Registration-Use Tax.
