American Iron West 2002 Season Summary

Maximum Motorsports congratulates sponsored American Iron racers John Lindsey and Ryan Flaherty for their outstanding efforts during the 2002 season. John Lindsey's number 22 Mustang competed in AIX, and Ryan Flaherty's number 17 Mustang ran in AI.

The end of the action-packed season saw Ryan clinching a well-deserved third place in the AI points. This came in spite of missing 6 of the 20 races. Ryan brought home the checkered flag three times, and qualified on the pole seven times. He also endured three DNFs due to crash damage.

John Lindsey also took third place for the season in American Iron Extreme. John endured multiple engine problems and finished in the points at 9 of the 20 races.
